1. Updating your profile

Why are my profile edits not visible?

We're still in Beta, so some edits might take up to 72 hours to become visible. If, after this period, they still aren't visible, feel free to contact us.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you want to cancel your subscription? Simply go here.

Can't figure it out? Drop us an email at info@copetparent.com, mentioning your desire to cancel your subscription. We'll handle the process within 10 working days.

2. Getting in touch with a co-parent

Can I chat with matches?

Absolutely! Once you've selected a billing plan and completed your profile, you can start chatting with other users right away. Building connections and friendships is what Co Pet Parent is all about, so dive into those conversations and share the love for your pets!

Can I save/favourite matches?

Of course! You can easily bookmark your favorite matches, making it convenient to revisit and continue the conversation. Simply look for the bookmark icon next to their profile and click to add them to your favorites.

3. Finding the Perfect Match

How do I find a match?

We work with various filters, such as location, pet preferences, and availability. The more detailed and accurate your profile is, the better chances you find the perfect match. 

What if I don't find a suitable match?

If you're having trouble finding the right co-parent match, don't lose hope! Try adjusting your preferences in the search filters, updating your profile, and reaching out to potential (newest) members to express your interest. The more proactive you are, the better your chances of finding the perfect co-parent for your furry friend.

4. Managing Pet Care Arrangements

How do I schedule a pet-sharing arrangement?

Once you've connected with a potential co-parent, you can make an appointment to meet. We recommend you first meet the pet, go for a walk and see if there is a connection between the parents. Also visit each others houses and see if you are comfortable with all. Then start with a test day and move on from there.  

What if I need to cancel a scheduled pet-sharing session?

Life happens, and we understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel a scheduled pet-sharing session, communicate openly with the co-parent as early as possible. We encourage understanding and flexibility within our community. If further assistance is required, our support team is here to help mediate and find a solution.

5. Troubleshooting and Support

I'm experiencing technical issues. What should I do?

If you encounter technical difficulties while using our platform, first, ensure that your browser is up-to-date. If the issue persists, contact our support team at info@copetparent.com, providing a detailed description of the problem and any error messages you may have received. We'll work swiftly to resolve the issue and ensure your seamless experience.

How do I add multiple pets to my profile?

You can’t add multiple pets to your profile (yet!), we are implementing this within the coming months. For the moment, we recommend you to make one profile and add a picture of the pets you want to put on the platform and describe your situation in your bio, so that pet lovers are aware you have multiple pets you want to ask care for. 

How do I report inappropriate behavior or content?

Co Pet Parent prioritizes a safe and respectful community. If you come across any inappropriate behavior or content, contact our support team immediately. We take such reports seriously and will take necessary actions to maintain a positive environment for all users.

What’s the difference between a paid membership and a free profile?

By opting for a premium membership, you become a verified member who has successfully cleared our safety checks, contributing to a secure environment on our platform. This paid status grants members the privilege to initiate conversations and connect with other users. On the other hand, free profiles allow you to receive messages but do not offer the ability to respond to them.

How do I delete my profile?

If you wish to delete your profile, simply click "delete profile" in the user menu, available when you click your profile image.

You can still access your account. New users will not be able to contact you.

Where are you based?

We are a recently established company and are currently exclusively serving the Netherlands. As we continue to expand quickly, we hope to extend our services to your region soon. Our goal is to launch in new areas, aiming to positively impact the lives of more dogs and their human companions in the future.
