How it Started
In 2023, Siyen and Jesper teamed up to create Co Pet Parent.
It all began when Siyen, going through a tough time after a breakup, sought help from his neighbor Linda to care for his dog Sammy. Linda, being a pet lover, not only took Sammy for walks but also showered him with love. This turned into a shared dog ownership arrangement, benefiting everyone involved.
Enter Jesper, eager to care for a dog but not ready for a full-time commitment. Sounds familiar?
Inspired by their shared experiences, they realized many people would love to help care for pets. And that's how our story began.
Why Co Pet Parent
We believe in the power of pet sharing, bringing advantages like more socializing for pets, consistent care during busy times, and shared financial responsibilities.
Recognizing the flaws in existing methods of finding pet co-parents, we built a platform to make connections easier and safer.
